Has the spring allergy season gotten worse over the past few years?

Question by badhand: Has the spring allergy season gotten worse more than the past couple of years?
I live in the North East, and I have noticed that it has turn out to be harder and tougher to deal with the “Spring Allergy” season more than the final 5 years or so. I am thirty years old, and have had to start off taking allergy medicines. In addition, this “season” appears to be beginning earlier and ending later every single year. I remember getting mild allergies as a kid (never ever much more than a sneezing episode or two per day in the spring) and I in no way required pills like Claritin or Allegra. I do not even keep in mind suffering at all for the duration of my teens or early twenties. Now I can’t leave my bedroom each and every morning in May or June with out one particular of these pills. Is this the impact of “climate adjust”, could this region be populated with distinct plants over the past 5 years? Is it possible my body is just changing and NOT the atmosphere? I am seriously contemplating moving out of the area due to the fact I don’t want to keep placing these medications in my body. They can’t be great for my wellness.

I feel you mate, and I am planning on leaving the area too. What are the good states? I find out cool air makes me feel better. My sinsus hate too much heat.

Not sure but, I do know that Allergies can worsen with age. I no allergies as a child (except towards smoke). As I got into my 30′s I seem to get more sensitive each year. I live in Florida so our spring/fall weather (Jan-Mar) is in the winter and that is when my allergies seem to bother me. Durring the summer (Apr-Dec) I am fine.

consume raw honey that also contains propolis… the combination of the two helps you to adapt to these allergens in the air during that time. the chemicals you take only suppresses the symptons, not help you to adapt to them…
… your local health food store should have itl…

I agree with you, I live in the deep South and I have in the past 3 years, allergies so bad that I haven’t left my home but just long enough to the doctor and each time I go I have wear a mask over my mouth and nose. I sneeze, I cough and spit of thick sputum and I take Zyrtec every night all year round. I get to where I can’t breath good and I mean it gets worst every year, I hate it because it makes you fell so tired and you have no energy, I have a large home and just to vacuum one room just gets me down , because I don’t have any energy because of all this coughing and sneezing. It makes you short breath. When fall comes and I get back to being myself, it is pure hell.
